1am. Thinking about food.

It would be nice to know why I can’t stop eating. After several months of fairly successful weight loss, I seem to be stuck, fluctuating in a band between 80 and 82 kilograms. Based on my back of the envelope calculations, my target weight is 79 kilos, but to all intents and purposes it may as well be 59, because I have well and truly plateaued.

One of the reasons seems to be a mental block – I can’t seem to maintain the self discipline needed to push through 80 kilos. So here I am, perplexed, still counting every calorie, and wondering when those scales will turn negative again.
